<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize a phenolic polymer having the same peak position as that of a natural humic acid by liquid chromatography. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the phenolic polymer, a polyphenol compound is dissolved in a basic aqueous solution of pH 8-11, and an alkaline periodate or an alkaline earth periodate is added to the solution, and the compound is allowed to react with the salt at 35-80°C for 30 min to 100 hr, and an alkali sulfide, an alkaline earth sulfide, etc., are added to the solution and the solution is allowed to stand, and after removing molecules of about 500-10.000 dalton or less, the solution is concentrated, and its application is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
