<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exposure system in which deviation of color balance can be suppressed through a simple arrangement and exposure can be carried out with high energy utilization efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The exposure system sets the emission intensity and emission time of each organic EL element in an organic EL array 20 at step 100, and stores the values of emission intensity and emission time thus set in an RAM at step 102. The organic EL elements of respective colors are set with different emission intensities so that the degradation rate is substantially equalized among three colors of RGB.
