PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orthogonal acceleration time-of-flight mass spectroscope capable of preventing an ion-extruding plate or the like constituting an ion reservoir from taking a charge and avoiding deterioration of resolution and sensitivity of mass spectrum. SOLUTION: In the OA-TOFMS provided with an outer ion source, a space for having ion generated at the outer ion source stay in, the ion reservoir constituted of the ion-extruding plate and a grid placed in opposition with the space in between for accelerating in pulse and taking out the ion from the space, a time-of-flight prism part separating in mass the ion taken out of the ion reservoir through the grid, and an ion detector for detecting the ion separated in mass, given component materials including the ion-extruding plate are to be heated with a heating means.
