PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flashlight emitter which is capable of illuminating an object by the light emission of a xenon discharge tube, and which can be built in a mobile phone with a camera. SOLUTION: The flashlight emitter comprises a flashlight emitting circuit which makes the xenon discharge tube emit light by discharging the charged energy of a main capacitor 27 charged beforehand by a DC-DC converter associated with the photographing of the camera. Further, the main capacitor 27 of the flashlight emitter is constituted by connecting four chip type ceramic capacitors 27a, 27b, 27c and, 27d in parallel, and can be built in the mobile phone with the camera.
