<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate material which is enhanced in sensitivity, developing properties and image characteristics and performs image recording by the exposure to an infrared laser. <P>SOLUTION: In the printing plate material wherein a constituent layer including a functional layer for recording an image by the exposure to an infrared laser is provide on a substrate, the center line average roughness Ra of the substrate measured by a three-dimensional roughness measuring method based on JIS-B-0601 is 0.2-10 μm and the oil sump area A2 of the surface shape parameter of the substrate is 1-10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
