METHOD FOR PRODUCING COKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing cokes by which a thermal cracking step can be advanced smoothly, and an energy imparted in a heat treatment step can be efficiently utilized for the thermal cracking of a waste when producing the cokes by charging the previously thermally cracked waste including a waste plastic, with a coal for coke making to a coke furnace.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the cokes by heating and carbonizing the coal for the coke making comprises (1) the step for thermally cracking the waste including the waste plastic, and (2) the step for heating and carbonizing the previously cracked waste with the coal for the coke making. A waste not exhibiting high-temperature fluidity at a temperature of the thermal cracking step is used as a part or the whole of the waste in the step (1).
