PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide charging equipment that allows the installation space of an LED to be reduced to the minimum by using a single LED installed to the charging equipment without using a plurality of LEDs, and can economically indicate a time required for the completion of charging. SOLUTION: The charging equipment is provided for charging a secondary battery, and comprises at least either of a temperature detection means that detects the temperature of the secondary battery, and a voltage detection means that detects the terminal voltage of the secondary battery; a control device that performs operation control for sorting the time required for the completion of the charging of the secondary battery into at least three time divisions based on the detected signals from the detection means; and the LED that indicates the state of charging according to the output of the control device. The LED is composed of an element that emits light having at least three colors, and the control device controls the emitted colors of the LED according to the operated time divisions.
