PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle and a suction cap structure capable of simplifying a suction mechanism in an inkjet recording head. SOLUTION: (1) In a head having two nozzle arrays of one black color and three colors arranged in the vertical direction, a single suction cap is formed to independently suck both of the nozzle arrays in which the black color one is offset with respect to the three-color one from the side of the cyan color by one color, and then a tube connection section of the suction cap is positioned on roughly the center of the black nozzle array. (2) In a head having three nozzle arrays including one black color nozzle array and two color nozzle arrays for large dots and small dots each having three colors vertically arranged, the single suction cap is formed to independently suck all of the three nozzle arrays in which the black color one is offset with respect to the color one from the side of the cyan color by one color, and then the tube connection section of the suction cap is positioned on roughly the center of the black nozzle array.
