PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide transfer information encryption and decryption devices and its method in a communication system. SOLUTION: When encryption is needed in information transfer between the terminal and the network in the method of encrypting information transmitted and received between a mobile communication terminal and a network, it includes an encryption request stage where a user terminal transmits a encryption request message of transfer information to the network, an authorization stage where the network receives an encryption request message from the terminal and transmits a message authorizing it to the terminal, a responsive stage where the terminal receives an encryption request authorization message from the network and transmits a message responsive at it to the network, and a completed stage where the network receives an encryption authorization answer message from the terminal and transmits to the terminal a message that encryption preparation in information transfer is completed correspondingly.
