PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodynamic actuator for detecting a speed of a moving part and for detecting the damping of the actuator that optimally makes adjustment by the detection by a simple and sure method. SOLUTION: A detection winding is provided in the moving part, a calculation unit is connected to the detection winding, the calculation unit detects the speed of the moving part from an induced voltage in the detection winding induced by the motion of the moving part in a magnetic field.
