PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive communication system capable of using general-purpose routers. SOLUTION: The system comprises a mobile positional control device 17 that controls the positional information of a mobile body 40; a router 11 that stores the positional information of the mobile body 40 and controls the transmission destination address of data; a central station 10 that is connected to the router 11 and has an address converter 14, which converts the address of data transmitted to the mobile body together with the positional information of the mobile body 40 into data for all base stations; and a plurality of stations 30a, 30b to 30n that detect a mobile body present in the communication area of an own station based on the positional information transmitted from the central station 10, determine whether or not the data transmitted from the central station 10 are data for the mobile body present in the communication area of the own station, and transmit the data to the mobile body when the data are data for the mobile body present in the communication area of the own station.
