PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase rotation computing element the scale of which is reduced without deteriorating the computing accuracy. SOLUTION: The phase rotation computing element is provided with: composite trigonometric function computing elements 10, 11 for generating cos(atan(B<SB>Q</SB>/B<SB>I</SB>)) and sin(atan(B<SB>Q</SB>/B<SB>I</SB>)) on the basis of a second complex signal comprising an in-phase component BI and a quadrature component BQ; and a phase rotation unit 30 for rotating a phase of a first complex signal on the basis of the cos(atan(B<SB>Q</SB>/B<SB>I</SB>)) and sin(atan(B<SB>Q</SB>/B<SB>I</SB>)), and each of the composite trigonometric function computing elements 10, 11 includes: an input conversion processing section 110 for generating any of intermediate data corresponding to each of computing results stepped at an equal interval in advance; and an output conversion processing section 111 for generating the computing result on the basis of the intermediate data.
