PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damage detecting method for a concrete structure capable of easily detecting position of damage of the structure. SOLUTION: A hose 12 is fitted to an upper end of a filter member 40 having mesh roughness of 0.1 mm or less, and concrete is placed. After the concrete is hardened, a liquid container filled with the liquid 20 is connected to an upper end of the hose 12. When large external force is applied to the filter member 40, the filter member is broken. Damage can be detected on the basis of a change of the liquid level when the liquid 20 penetrates outside the concrete through a crack 205 or the like. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
