PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material which is excellent in mechanical properties, exhibits a small change of a laser optical axis with temperature, is suitable for parts of an optical recording unit, and is excellent in adhesion to a modified acrylate adhesive. SOLUTION: The resin composition for a molding is prepared by compounding 100 pts.wt. resin composition comprising (A) 15-35 wt.% polyarylene sulfide resin, (B) 5-25 wt.% polyphenylene ether resin, (C) 10-50 wt.% fibrous filler, and (D) 10-50 wt.% non-fibrous filler with (E) 0.01-1 pt.wt. fatty acid ester.
