PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable power tool which enables an operator to clearly see a marking line indicating a cutting position and perform accurate operations, even in a working environment with much dust etc. SOLUTION: In this portable power tool equipped with a lighting unit for illuminating a desired area such as a cutting part and a working part, an LED, which emits monochromatic light with a light emission wavelength of 550-620 nm, is used as the lighting unit.
