PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately adjust driving depth while securing the function of a safety device in a hammering tool of a gas combustion type or the like. SOLUTION: The hammering tool is provided with a sliding type inner guide 17 for guiding the advancing/retreating movement of a blade (a rod) and the advancing movement of a fastener, and an outer guide 16 (19, 20) for holding the inner guide 17 slidably. The tip part of the inner guide 17 is exposed from the tip of the outer guide 19, and a screw type nose 40 is mounted to the exposed part. Even if the greater part of a head 3 is surrounded by a shroud 18, the driving depth can be easily and accurately adjusted by rotationally operating the nose 40. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
