PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter removing apparatus for a sheet work capable of reliably removing dust from the sheet work at a low cost without damaging a product. SOLUTION: The foreign matter removing apparatus is equipped with a dust removal head for removing the dust R sticking to a sheet work 1. The removal head is equipped with: an upstream side dust suction port 3 and downstream side dust suction port 4 for sucking the air/dust R; and a jet nozzle 5 disposed between the port 3 and the port 4 and for ejecting air. The apparatus is also equipped with: a transport roller 46 which is located on the upstream side of the dust removal head, supports the sheet work 1 and feeds the work to the dust removal head; and a transport roller 46 which is located on the downstream side of the dust removal head, supports the sheet work 1 and feeds the work from the dust removal head to the downstream side.
