The invention relates to a sensor arrangement for monitoring a spatial area of least one motor-driven wing (8) of a door. A transmitter (1) emits radiation and a receiver (2) reacts to a reflection of said beam differing in intensity and produces a signal which controls the actuation of the door. Each transmitter (1) is associated with an auxiliary receiver (3) and each receiver (2) is associated with an auxiliary transmitter (4) in order to develop a sensor arrangement with increased security and reliability.
