<p>The present invention concerns an apparatus for rolling up at least one cable, where the cable has at least one first cable end and at least one second cable end, where the apparatus includes a housing containing at least one reel, and where the housing also includes at least one plane coil spring, where the plane coil spring interacts with the reel, where the cable is rolled up double around the reel. It is the purpose of the invention to provide an apparatus for constant tensioning and rolling up a cable. This may be achieved with an apparatus as described in the introduction, if the apparatus is designed so that the cable is continuous through the apparatus, where the reek has a centre containing means for fastening the cable, where the cable is rolled up double about the centre of the reel. Hereby may be achieved efficient rolling up of a cable, whereby a cable may be adapted to optimal cable length at any time during use. One may thus avoid in use that superfluous cable lengths are interfering, and one may avoid damaging the cable when the cable is used as a cable extension for a handheld electric tool where e.g. a hedge trimmer is dangerous for cables.</p> |
