Device for drawing crystal from melt or melt solution by Czochralski method comprises crucible containing molten raw material, seed crystal (3) of predetermined crystal orientation, and crystal holder, where seed crystal has diameter and cross-section about same size as crystal to be drawn; means for starting seed crystal pulling process is dipped in raw material (2) to depth and for time which ensures partial back melting (sic).
