<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new RNA interference-inducing vector easy to produce with higher gene expression-suppressive efficiency, and to provide a method for efficiently suppressing gene expression using the vector. <P>SOLUTION: The RNA interference-inducing vector is such as to be integrated with a sense chain sequence(Target2) encoding the genetic information of a gene and the corresponding antisense chain sequence(Target2') and have an inverted repeat base sequence structure, wherein tRNA<SP>Thr</SP>1 as the promoter sequence of RNA polymeraseIII is integrated in the upstream region of the inverted repeat base sequence.
