PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake control device capable of eliminating pedaling feeling and of securing ample brake deceleration by shifting to a normal brake based on brake fluid leakage determination in case of leakage of brake fluid of a system with a fluid pressure sensor out of a plurality of brake fluid pressure systems. SOLUTION: The brake control device is provided with a VDC/TCS/ABS system controlling the brake fluid pressure irrespective of the operation of a driver, a brake switch 32, and a brake pressure sensor 24 detecting the fluid pressure of a single-system master cylinder. A fail-safe means is provided to shift brake fluid pressure control irrespective of the operation of the driver (VDC/TCS brake control) to the normal brake if a fluid pressure detection value at the time a prescribed period after the braking operation of the driver is not more than a prescribed value when the braking operation of the driver is detected during controlling a brake under the VDC/TCS.
