PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract mail caller related information even when a sender of a mail header differs from an actual mail sender in the case of transfer mail or the like. SOLUTION: An information terminal includes: a means for receiving electronic mail having a mail header including a sender name and a mail main text; a document analysis means; a telephone directory; and a telephone directory searching means. The information terminal is characterized in that it receives and stores designated sender registration in advance, the telephone directory stores caller identification information and caller related information, the document analysis means analyzes the mail main text to extract mail sender identification information when the sender in the header of electronic mail received by an electronic mail reception means is coincident with the registered designated sender, and the telephone directory searching means searches the telephone directory on the basis of the extracted sender identification information to extract the sender related information.
