PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a disk carrying device which can prevent scratch to a disk surface at the time of carrying the disk. SOLUTION: This disk carrying device is provided with a disk guide part 260 abutting on an external edge of a disk 20 at the time of carrying the disk 20, and a disk loading mechanism part 230 abutting on an external edge of the disk 20 of an opposite side to an abutting part in the external edge of the disk 20 of the disk guide part 26. Also, the device is provided with width wide parts 60a, 60b preventing the disk 20 from being separated from the abutting part of the disk guide part 26, a flange part preventing the disk 20 from being separated from the abutting part of the disk loading mechanism part 260, and a projection part preventing tilt of the disk 20 shifted by a timing belt 48 shifting the disk 20 held between the disk guide part 260 and the disk loading mechanism part 230 from one side of housing position to the other side of housing position.
