PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pumping phenomenon while maintaining a drip-proofing effect and the strength of a lens barrel. SOLUTION: The lens barrel has a cylindrical member which forms a part of the lens barrel and to one end of which a filter can be attached, and a lens adjacent to the filter attached to one end thereof and movable in an optical axis direction in the cylindrical member, and it is characterized by having a recessed part which is formed on the cylindrical member between the filter and the lens in a state where the filter is attached and on the bottom part of which a through-hole part is formed, and a cover member attached to the recessed part and covering over the through-hole part.
