PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately display a mobile station on an electronic map of a display means. SOLUTION: In the monitoring system of the mobile station in which the position of the mobile station is measured with a GPS position measurement device provided on the mobile station 12, the position of the mobile station is displayed on a monitoring station display 17, a user station display 21, and the electronic map at the display 22 of the mobile station via a wireless data link 20 and a wired LAN 19, and the position of the mobile station is monitored, when the position of the mobile station is displayed on the electronic map, the position of a reference point on the electronic map is actually measured with the GPS position measurement device. The difference in the coordinates of the measured reference point and the coordinates of the reference point on the electronic map is defined as the error of the electronic map, and the electronic map information is corrected by using the error as a correction value.
