PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator with a pair of double hinged doors, offering door sealing construction permitting the sealing of a gap between both doors without increasing door opening force. SOLUTION: A vertical seal portion 12 for sealing both doors at their ends with a sealing plane W is set at a positive distance from a Y-plane connecting oscillating center axes 20 of both doors in the direction of opening the doors, so that the opening operation track of the seal portion 12 is gradually made farther from the sealing plane W than that in initial opening operation.
