PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer device cleaning device for a heat exchanger having a plurality of heat transfer pipes disposed in multiple stages and rows and formed so as to recover the heat energy of hot exhaust gas passed through the external surface of the heat transfer pipes by low temperature fluid passed through the inside of the heat transfer pipes so that a stably operating cleaning means capable of securely removing dust on the upper parts of the heat transfer pipes can be provided. SOLUTION: A cart horizontally moving in the direction of the axes of the heat transfer pipes is disposed on the upper side of a heat transfer pipe disposed part, and a pair of vertical frames are suspendedly installed on both sides of the cart. The both end parts of a flexible sweeping member moving in contact with the outer surfaces of the heat transfer pipes inserted into spaced parts between the heat transfer pipes disposed in multiple stages and rows are installed on the vertical frames installed on the cart so that the outer surfaces of the heat transfer pipes can be cleaned by the movement of the cart.
