PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assist a shift motor 12 at a synchronized time when a large load is required and improve responsiveness when a light load is applied. SOLUTION: A lever 22 is fitted to the end of a shift shaft 6 to which the striker 20 of a transmission is spline-fitted, and a nut 24 threaded to a motor shaft 14 of the motor 12 disposed orthogonal to the shift shaft 6 is connected to the lever 22. When the nut 24 is axially moved by the driving of the shift motor 12, the lever 22 is rotated to rotate the shift shaft 6 and the striker 20 for the shifting operation of the transmission 2. In addition, an air cylinder 26 is disposed parallel with the shift motor 12. An annular engagement member 48 is fitted to the tip of the piston rod 28 of the air cylinder 26, and an engagement pin 50 fixed to the lever 22 is inserted into the annular engagement member 48 through a space.
