摘要 The heater (10, 11) is inserted in the mold cavity, disposed to avoid contact with the walls. It is held against displacement, or movement during injection. The mold is closed and a mixture of thermoset resin and mineral powder filler is introduced at a pressure below 10<6> Pa (140 psi). Independent claims are included for equipment carrying out the process, comprising essentially the mold and a tensioning device; also for the heating panel made in this way, and a kit comprising panel and matching wall fittings. A further claim covers molding compound used specifically for the subject purpose. Glass transition of the resin takes place at 120 degrees C - 160 degrees C. Preferred features: Resin comprises 10-50 wt%, filler 50-90 wt%, in the molding compound. Gel-coat is applied to the upper mold and matrix, before starting. Resin polymerization is effected by mold heating. The heater is tensioned by moving its support (16) in the mold, using an external actuator. Further details of supports and attachments are included. The radiator can be produced in curved form. The element is an electric wire 0.1-0.8 mm in diameter.
