The invention relates to a method and an installation for producing injectio n moulded parts, especially preforms (12), the liquid melt being directly received by a chemical production installation (1) and continuously supplied to an injection moulding machine (13). If the melt is in a degassing state ready to inject, at least two injection cylinders (21, 22) comprising controlled or regulated injection pistons (24, 25) are alternately charged with the continuous melt flow, said pistons enabling the injection cycle to be carried out in a push-pull mode in relation to the charging of the cylinders . The continuously supplied melt flow is degassed as much as required on the machine side, e.g. in a degassing extruder, a degassing endless screw (60, 8 1) or a pre-accumulator (21, 22, 62, 90). The inventive installation is used to produce injection moulded parts, especially preforms (12), the liquid melt being directly received by a chemical installation (1) and continuously supplied to an injection moulding machine (3) for the cyclic production of injection moulded parts in injection moulds.
