PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal with a camera in which susceptivity of a camera lens to contamination and damage is improved. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal comprises a lower casing, an upper casing coupled to the lower casing and rotating between a first position and a second position, and a camera. When the upper casing is in the first position, the camera stands out from the mobile terminal, while the camera is contained in the mobile terminal when the upper casing is in the second position. The mobile terminal includes the camera for generating an image signal and a camera container for containing the camera in either the upper or the lower casing. When the upper casing is opened, the camera stands out of the camera container, whereas the camera is contained in the container when the upper casing is closed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
