PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diversity receiver provided with a first and second branch systems 21, 22 respectively having a first and second sector antenna pairs 11, 12 and a diversity section 23 applying diversity processing to each output from the first and second branch systems for minimizing the deterioration of the reception quality caused by antenna switching. SOLUTION: The diversity receiver is provided with a switch control means 30 that controls switching of the first and second sector antenna pairs 11, 12 and each process in the first and second branch systems 21, 22 and the diversity section 23 attended with the switching.
