PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone to which a user attaches a user's preferred function after purchasing the mobile phone. SOLUTION: The mobile phone is configured such that a rear panel 20 is freely attached to / detached from a main body unit 10. The main body unit 10 is provided with an attachment / detachment part 30 to attach / detach the rear panel 20; a detection section 101 for discriminating the rear panel 20; and a control section 102 for revising settings of prescribed functions of the main body unit 10 and attached functions of the rear panel 20 on the basis of an output of the detection section 101, and the rear panel 20 is provided with a rear panel identification section 201 for outputting a rear panel 20 identification signal 207 to identify the rear panel 20; an attached function control section 202 for receiving a setting revision signal 107 outputted from the control section 102 to control attached functions; and an attached function section 203 with the attached functions controlled by an output of the attached function control section 202.
