PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light leakage prevention device for a sliding door for surely preventing leakage of light corresponding to a gap between the panels. SOLUTION: In the sliding door where two or more panels are supported able to be used as a double sliding door, the respective panels are provided with a plurality of gap preventing pieces 7a to 7c projected toward the opposite panels, and the respective gap prevention pieces 7a to 7c are provided with cutout grooves 8a to 8d for regulating the length of each gap prevention piece.
