PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire preventive construction in a composite sash, which has high fireproofness and in which a resin member is difficult to ignite even in the case of a fire, regarding the composite sash in which the indoor side of a metal sash is covered with the resin member. SOLUTION: In the composite sash in which a composite framework body in which a resin framework body 6 is disposed on the indoor side of a metal framework body 5 is housed in a composite window frame in which a resin frame body 4 is disposed on the indoor side of a metal frame body 3, a fire-resisting insulating material 8a is interposed between joint surfaces 7a and 7b of the metal frame body 3 and the resin frame body 4 and between the joint surfaces 7a and 7b of the metal framework body 5 and the resin framework body 6, respectively, by coating the joint surface 7a with the frame body 4 and the framework body 6 with the material 8a composed of paint in the frame body 3 and the framework body 5, respectively.
