PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide transmitting equipment capable of data transmission even if a communication line is disconnected during the data transmission. SOLUTION: A plurality of communication interfaces 109-112, which are connectable to each of a plurality of communication lines, are prepared. In the transmitting equipment which transmits data via the communication interface, an appropriate communication line is selected based on a prescribed communication line connection standard, the communication interface corresponding to the communication line is activated and connected to the communication line, and data is transmitted when the communication line is disconnected during the data transmission.
