PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removable roof for a passenger car surely held on a window shield frame and a body frame structural body extended to a rear side of a seat of the car by a position fixing system and a lock system. SOLUTION: This roof has two roof elements advantageously assembled without hinges on a center longitudinal direction plane B-B of the passenger car. Each of the roof elements cooperates with the window shield frame by a first position fixing device and a second position fixing device of the position fixing system, and cooperates with the body frame structural body by a lock device of the lock system.
