The invention relates to a plastic-metal composite element comprising at least two metallic molded parts (1) and (2) that form an integral bond with an adhesive (3) in overlapping areas of the molded parts (1) and (2) while being additionally connected to each other by means of thermoplastic material (4) that is injected thereupon. The molded parts (1) and (2) are not in direct contact with each other while the adhesive (3) forms an electrically insulating layer therebetween.
