<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eye imaging device that can quickly identify an eye as a real or false one by simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The eye imaging device comprises a visible ray illumination part 3 and a near-infrared ray illumination part 2 for irradiating an eye 1, an illumination drive part 4 for driving or flashing the visible ray illumination part 3 and the near-infrared ray illumination part 2, a filter part 13 having a near-infrared ray transmission filter 14 and a visible ray transmission filter 15, an imaging part 21 for imaging the eye 1, an iris image extraction part 10 for extracting and outputting an eye image including the iris from the image of the eye 1 output from the imaging part 21, a control part 5 for controlling the illumination drive part 4 and the imaging part 21, and an image comparison part 9 for comparing an image picked up through the visible ray transmission filter 15 as the visible ray illumination part 3 irradiates the eye 1 with visible rays, and an image picked up through the near-infrared ray transmission filter 14 as the near-infrared ray illumination part 2 irradiates the eye 1 with near-infrared rays. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
