<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact IC card superior in external appearance and aptitude for printing, and a base material for the noncontact IC card. <P>SOLUTION: This noncontact IC card 1 is formed into an integral base body by performing a thermocompression press by sandwiching an antenna sheet 10 with an IC chip attached thereto between obverse and reverse printing sheets 20 and 30 via adhesive sheets 13 and 14 and spacer sheets 15 and 16, and uses a polyethylene terephthalate resin sheet for the obverse and reverse printing sheets, and is characterized by performing press lamination by arranging a biaxial orientation polyethylene terephthalate resin spacer sheet having a fine cavity of 20 to 30 % in the volume ratio and an adhesive sheet having melt viscosity not more than 2,500 Poise (190 °C) between the printing sheets on the side having at least a projection of the antenna sheet.
