<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly detect valve leakage in a system having piping and valves. <P>SOLUTION: Hydrogen in a hydrogen tank 40 is supplied to an FC stack 121 of a fuel cell through pipes 207, 205. A flow-in valve 211 and a flow-out valve 206 are provided respectively between the hydrogen tank 40 and the pipe 207, and between the pipes 207, 205. A controller 110 controls valve opening and valve closing for the flow-in valve 211 and the flow-out valve 206. The flow-in valve 211 and the flow-out valve 206 are closed by pressure regulation by the valve opening and valve closing, under the condition where pressure in an inside of the pipe 207 is lower than that in an inside of the hydrogen tank 40 and where pressure in an inside of the pipe 205 is lower than that in the inside of the pipe 207. An increase or decrease of the pressure in the inside of the pipe 207 is detected thereafter by a pressure gage 210 to detect the leakage in the flow-in valve 211 or the flow-out valve 206. The leakage in the flow-in valve 211 and the flow-out valve 206 is collectively detected by this detecting method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
