INPUT DEVICE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device capable of realizing a high-performance force/torque feedback function by the displacement of a panel for performing an input operation at low cost.

SOLUTION: A pair of juxtaposed through-holes 41a and 41b of the same shape are provided on a flexible substrate 4 having a wiring pattern 42 formed thereon. A piezoelectric actuator 3 consisting of a piezoelectric bimorph element is inserted to one through-hole 41a and then to the other through-hole 41b from the reverse side, whereby the actuator 3 is arranged so that both longitudinal ends thereof are in contact with the same side of the flexible substrate 4. The flexible substrate 4 thus loaded with the actuator 3 is arranged so that the actuator 3 is in contact with a touch sensor part across part of the flexible substrate 4.
