PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical bearing which is free from any play by a rolling element, capable of fitting the rolling element in a spherical recessed portion without dividing a housing, and high in accuracy at low manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A housing 2 having a spherical recessed portion 2a as a means of fitting a spherical portion 1a formed in an end part of a rod 1 in the spherical recessed portion 2a provided in the housing 2 via a large number of rolling elements (5) and turning it in a three-dimensional manner has an integrated structure, and the rolling elements (5) are retained by bendable soft retainers 4 connected to each other in series so as to be along the spherical portion of the rod. A lid 3 to prevent projection of the retainers 4 is provided on an inlet 2b of the spherical recessed portion of the housing 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
