PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary inspection device capable of inspecting a rotating state of an industrial roll with easy work at a short time period, and to perform the fixed reference inspection work regardless of a worker. SOLUTION: This rotating inspection device 10 for inspecting the rotating state of the industrial roll 20 is equipped with a driving roll 11 abutting with the industrial roll 20 in parallel to rotate the industrial roll 20, and an auxiliary roll 12 arranged to be separated from the driving roll 11 in parallel and abutting with the industrial roll 20 at the rotation and capable of being rotated along with the rotation. The industrial roll 20 is rotated by the driving roll 11 for a predetermined time period, and the rotating state of the industrial roll 20 after that is inspected.
