PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide joining means for corded materials by which manufacturing costs can be reduced by forming them in a simple structure, corded materials can be joined in sequence and their joining and release can be easily performed. SOLUTION: A space 18 is formed in a housing 16 of a first joining device 12 for fixing one end of the corded material 10. A partition 20 in the back of the space 18 is made of a magnet. An iron pin 26 is fixed to a housing 24 of a second joint device 14 for fixing the other end of the corded material 10. The first joint device 12 and the second joint device 14 are joined by attracting the magnet partition 20 and the iron pin 26 by inserting the pin 26 of the second joint device 14 into the space 18 of the first joint device 12. On the other hand, the first joint device 12 and the second joint device 14 can be released by applying a force larger than the attracting force between the magnet partition 20 and the iron pin 26 to the first joint device 12 and the second joint device 14. Since both of the ends of the corded material 10 can be joined by engaging the first joint device 12 with the second joint device 14, a multitude of corded materials 10 can be joined.
