The cylinder head gasket (3), e.g. of plastics, has at least one bore (2) for reception of a positioning and/or fixing bolt (1) having a lower insertion section, a central shaft section and an upper retaining section with a number of retaining teeth (12,13) of differing length. At least one longer retaining tooth is lipped over the edge (15) of the reception bore and at least one shorter retaining tooth locks behind the edge of the reception bore. An Independent claim for a bolt for positioning and/or fixing a cylinder head gasket is also included.
