A mass media data processing system and method, i.e., the technique for realizing marketing such as an excellent advertisement having both of appeal power and interactive characteristic toward a plenty of persons in a public place. An information delivery unit performs information delivery to a display device and records in a delivery information database the delivery information such as delivery history indicating when and what kind of information has been delivered to which display device. A market information collection unit collects information (called market information) relating to a reaction of a viewer for the information delivery from the viewer communication terminal apparatus. A purchase information collection unit collects purchase information on when and where and which commodity has been utilized from an external information processing system such as POS and stores it in a purchase information database. An information analysis unit performs information analysis relating to marketing according to the delivery information, market information, and purchase information.
