<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device capable of reducing the pixels by simplifying the pixel constitution and suppressing the variations between the pixels in the case of making the output constitution of a plurality of systems. <P>SOLUTION: A unit cell 30 includes two pixels 31 and 32 and the two pixels 31 and 32 are constituted of two upper and lower photoelectric conversion elements 33 and 34, transfer transistors 35 and 36 respectively, one reset transistor 37 and one amplification transistor 38. Then, entire surface selection signal wiring 39 is connected to the drain of each reset transistor 37 and amplification transistor 38. By controlling the entire surface selection signal wiring 39 together with transfer signal wiring 42 and 43 and reset signal wiring 40 and performing a signal read operation, pixel wiring is simplified and the pixels are reduced or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
