<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a potential distribution map with high precision by correctly detecting cardiac potential from multiple measurement parts, while reducing the change of an OV line with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A body surface electrocardiograph detects cardiac potential induced onto a body surface through the use of electrodes 1, and displays a body surface potential distribution map. The electrodes 1 includes a rod electrode 10 comprising: a plurality of conductive rods 12 to be pressed against a plurality of places on the body surface; electrode bodies 13 mounted to allow the conductive rods 12 to be put in/out; and elastic protrusion members 14, to protrude the conductive rods 12. Each conductive rod 12 includes: a rod part 12B; and a contact electrode 12A which is connected to the tip end part of the rod part 12B and brought into contact with the body surface. The outer shape of the contact surface 12a of the contact electrode 12A to be brought into contact with the body surface is larger than the cross section of the rod part 12B. The area of each contact surface 12a is larger than 15mm<SP>2</SP>, and smaller than the square (d/2)<SP>2</SP>of the half of an interval (d) between the centers of the adjacent contact electrodes 12A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
